Meet Monte Smith of Gold Country Sportfishing.
Monte Smith was born and raised in the Central California valley.
As a child Monte grew up hunting and fishing on a large ranch. His love for the outdoors developed at a very young age.Through the years Monte's passion of fishing continued and his desire to educate people about how to catch fish inspired him to start Gold Country Sport fishing.
Today Monte operates a successful guide service, Monte guides on the Reservoirs and Lakes, like New Melones, Don Pedro, McClure and Tulloch.
